Hi, I’m Taylor
Nutrition counselor & Writer
I’m so happy you’re here!
I became a dietitian because I absolutely love food. I love eating. I love cooking. I love trying new dishes. I even love grocery shopping.
Now don’t despair, I do recognize that not everyone loves these things and I can totally understand wanting to outsource all food-related tasks. But give me a whole day to peruse grocery store aisles and concoct new recipes and I’m in heaven (as long as someone else cleans the kitchen afterward – we can’t be expected to do it all)!
My favorite part about being a dietitian is connecting with folks like you. I know inside each of us, there’s a desire to be heard, to be seen, and to feel a sense of authentic connection to other people.
My mission is to collaborate with you to figure out why your body feels like it went off track and provide guidance on food and lifestyle shifts to get you feeling vibrant again.
Have you ever tried to follow a meal plan or a diet and felt so disappointed when it didn’t “stick?” I have this theory that you weren’t doing the diet wrong. It was the diet that was wrong for you!
In my early twenties, I found myself trying and failing to follow the “move more, eat less approach.” I felt defeated and like something was wrong with me when I didn’t feel better following low fat and low-calorie diets.
Only after discovering undiagnosed food sensitivities and Candida overgrowth, was I able to finally heal my gut.
I know that feeling good isn’t just about the food you eat (or don’t eat)! My approach includes diving into your sleep habits, movement patterns, social support and more to address every aspect of your health.
My desire is to provide current nutrition education and support in a way that leaves you feeling empowered, uplifted, and motivated. I want to serve you by encouraging and challenging you while honoring your individuality.
What are you waiting for? Grab a cup of something warm and a cozy seat and let’s chat!
