Integrative + Functional Dietitian
Hi, I’m Erica!
I cannot wait to meet you to help you uncover and heal your health struggles! I personally understand the effort and frustration of uncovering complex health conditions but also coming out the other end thriving.
My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (which is an autoimmune condition) in 2017. No one could give me answers to why she was still feeling so sick even after we were able to manage her insulin and blood sugars. In the journey to her healing so much had to do with her gut!
I am the type of provider that will be right be your side along the whole journey to health, with no stone unturned to understand you. I ask for honest communication (I’ve heard it all!) so that we can even talk about the most difficult things that affect your healing. I work hard to meet you where you are at and still get to the desired outcome.
When I am not working with patients, learning more to help my patients or creating new programs and content, I am an active mom of three teen children. I love to spend time in nature, experimenting with recipes, relaxing in an IR sauna and traveling with my husband and kids.
Professional Background
Erica has been a dietitian since 2008 and has been formally advancing her skills as a functional dietitian for the last 5 years. She has an extensive background in gut health, blood sugar management and metabolism.
Erica is trained as a health coach, integrative dietitian, and weight management expert. She enjoys customizing programs and protocols based on assessment and specialty testing for the gut, hormones, nutrients, food sensitivities, and genetics.
During Erica’s sessions, she will first analyze a very thorough intake form from a patient that includes diet, movement, stress, sleep, environmental exposures, supplements/meds, health conditions, symptoms, and personal goals. After the initial consultation, she may suggest some additional specialty tests – which could include stool testing, hormones, thyroid, adrenals, genetics, food sensitivities, immune and nutrient deficiencies.
